1.) Snooze An AM Eatery

Founded by brothers Jon and Adam Schlegel in Denver, Colorado. This AM eatery has elevated the art of breakfast and brunch with homemade culinary innovations. Add to that an eclectic, energetic atmosphere combined with fun and friendly service. Breakfast and brunch are served Mon. – Fri  from 7AM to 2PM. And Sat. & Sun. 6:30AM – 2:30PM.

The brunch menu ranges from sweet and decadent to savory and healthy. There are everyone’s favorite breakfast classics plus new creative menu twists to ponder over. Highlights include Blueberry Danish Pancakes, Smashed Avocado Benny, Shrimp & Grits, Breakfast Pot Pie, and Ooo La La Frittata. You’re also encouraged to get creative and order breakfast your way.

Want to pair your meal with a refreshing cocktail? Punch it up with the Boss Hog (bacon-infused Cyrus Noble Bourbon & House Bloody Mix) or a Wicked Watermelon Margarita (Tequila or Jalapeno-Infused Tequila for Extra Heat, Jalapeno-Watermelon Agua Fresca, House Sour, fresh lime served with a salted rim). Bagel lovers know Einsteins has the very best. Did you know their bakers get to the store at 2 AM every day and bake fresh bagels every four hours? It’s true. Einsteins is the place to get every variety of breakfast bagels you could want. Meaning there’s a multitude of flavors, all freshly made. They use the finest ingredients to create the most delicious combinations. Gourmet flavors include Six Cheese, Jalapeno Cheddar, Apple Cinnamon, Power Protein, Spinach Florentine, Green Chili, and Cheesy Hashbrown. Signature bagels include Asiago Cheese, Blueberry, Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Sugar, French Toast, and Pretzel. Classics include Plain, Everything, Sesame Seed, Cinnamon Raisin, Honey Whole Wheat, Cranberry, Poppy Seed, Onion, Ancient Grain, Garlic and Pumpernickel. Shmearfuls include French Toast, Asiago, and Plain.

New on the menu are the Twice Baked Hashbrown, with 4 kinds of cheese and two classic shmears. Now all other hash browns have met their match. It’s a perfect side to your next egg sandwich. The Croissant Deluxe is also a new favorite for breakfast lovers. The Deluxe uses crisp bacon, fresh-cracked eggs, and savory cheddar cheese stacked inside a flaky croissant. It’s the perfect balance of all the right breakfast flavors. Want to kick it up a notch for breakfast? Go for the Chorizo, Pepper Jack, Egg Sandwich. A spicy Chorizo patty topped with soft pepper jack cheese gives a traditional egg sandwich the right mix of flavors with a dash of heat. There are also marvelous muffins, hot coffee, juices, and smoothies too.

3.) Cafe Express

Cafe Express opened in 1984 out of a passionate desire to craft quick, flavorful meals from fresher ingredients. Back then recipes were crafted by Chef Robert Del Grande, a notable James Beard Award winner. Now 35 years later Cafe Express is serving up scratch food fast by a team that cares. Many of Del Grande’s original Southwest-inspired recipes are still on the menu today. 

Cafe Express offers up a bountiful weekend brunch with its French Quarter Toast, Organic Oatmeal Pancakes, Chef Jose’s Migas, Barbacoa Street Tacos, Hangover Hash, Blackened Shrimp & Gouda Grits, and Chicken & Belgian Waffles to name a few. There’s a kid’s breakfast menu and free wifi. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday 9 AM 2:30 PM.  Regular hours are Mon-Sun: 7 AM-10 PM

Beyond traditional brunch fare, there’s Cafe Express’ daily menu with savory appetizers, soups, salads with house-made dressings, sandwiches, burgers, grilled and roasted fare, signature pasta, and dreamy desserts. Some of our favorite items include the Turkey Cobb Salad, Rustica Chicken Sandwich, Southwest Burger, Grilled Mediterranean Salmon, Roasted Half Chicken, and the Fettuccine Shrimp Capri. For dessert, we love the Warm Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce. The Scratch Cakes are not to be missed either with Carrot, German Chocolate, and Black Forrest. All quite yummy, indeed!

You’re sure to love the casual bright decor and shaded breezeway patio dining. Ordering is fast and easy at the counter and the food is served up in a jiffy. A local’s favorite, la Madeleine is a little piece of France right here at Town & Country Village. Since they opened at Town & Country Village in 1998, a stop at la Madeleine for coffee, pastries, and hearty French food has become a tradition. You are encouraged to go for the la Madeleine experience that fits your mood. Sit and sip quietly by the fireplace or choose the patio and do as the French do – enjoy the art of conversation. Smile, laugh, and linger. 

Bonjour breakfast! Every day this charming French Cafe chain opens early at 6:30 AM to satisfy breakfast, brunch, and coffee cravings. Whether you’re ready for a decadent chocolate croissant and coffee or a heartier meal, la Madeleine has you covered. All-day breakfast classics include Croque Madam, Country French or American Breakfast, Quiche Florentine or Lorrain, Croissant Sandwich, Custom Omelettes, and Potato Galette. On the sweeter side, there’s French Toast, Waffles, and Crepes. 5.) Caliente

Caliente is a chef-driven farm to fork quick-serve Mexican restaurant. Everything including the tortillas are made fresh daily in-house. Signature entrées are scrumptiously made to your liking. There’s Migas made with 3 large fresh eggs, a blend of bell peppers, jalapeños, cheddar cheese, and tortilla chips. Migas are served with skillet potatoes and your choice of refried or black beans. The Caliente Omelet starts with 3 large fresh eggs, pick your favorite cheese, and add in your choice of fresh ingredients. It’s generously paired with 2 delicious sausage patties and skillet potatoes. The Pancake Platter includes 3 sweet buttermilk pancakes, drizzled with your choice of strawberry or chocolate sauce, dusted with powdered sugar, topped with meringue, strawberries, and mint. It’s served with a side of plantains and skillet potatoes. 

You’re sure to love the Breakfast Tacos (bacon, jalapeno sausage, chorizo, and potato egg), Belgian Waffles, Red Velvet Pancakes, Chilaquiles Verdes, and the yummy Five Center Cinnamon Roll. Order up fresh fruit, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and premium coffee to go along with your meal. The breakfast cocktails are mixed to perfection. The Orange Mimosa is made with fresh orange juice and the Bloody Mary is made with fresh tomatoes, fresh lime juice, black pepper, and celery seed. The famous Caliente Spiked Watermelon Limeade is made with Persian limes, pureed watermelon, and real cane sugar.

6.) McCormick & Schmick’s

Wanting a big, bold weekend brunch outing with all the trimmings? Book a table at McCormick & Schmick’s at Town & Country Village and dive into the extensive brunch & lunch menus. It’s happening every Saturday and Sunday 11 AM-3 PM. You’ll revel in the upscale atmosphere and be delighted with the gloriously fresh seafood, pasta, beef, and brunch offerings. An experience not to be missed. 

There’s everyone’s favorite brunch classics like traditional eggs Benedict plus Benedict’s With A Twist selections that offer phenomenally fresh Crab Cakes or a Crawfish Creation that layers a crawfish grit cake and creamed spinach with crawfish hollandaise. The Chicken & Waffle, Chesapeake Buttermilk Fried Shrimp, Blackened Chicken Fettuccini, Cedar Roasted Atlantic Salmon, Stuffed Shrimp, Gulf Snapper Pontchartrain, and American Kobe style Burger top our list as best brunch entrée’s.

Try the Maine Lobster Bisque, Seafood Gumbo, Hearts of Romaine Caesar, or Lobster Cobb Salad.

All are outstanding choices if you fancy an entrée salad, robust bisque, or savory seafood gumbo. “Delicious” doesn’t do them justice. Pair your meal with $3.00 brunch cocktails from the bar. There’s a bloody mary, mimosa, or a fuzzy sparkler (peach schnapps, orange juice, sparkling wine) on the special. There’s also a full bar for the mixology of your choice and a sublime wine list. 

 McCormick & Schmick’s menu is printed twice daily, featuring the signature “Fresh List” highlighting an impressive number of fresh seafood varieties, in addition to aged steaks, poultry, entrée salads, and pasta creations. McCormick & Schmick’s commitment to local freshness is apparent in the seasonally inspired dishes and preparations offered for brunch, lunch, happy hour, and dinner. 7.) Escalante’s Fine Tex Mex & Tequila

In the mood for a Tex Mex fix? Head over to Escalante’s for its renowned Tex Mex weekend brunch. You’ll love the colorful cantina-style decor, large scenic wall murals, and big windows. There’s also a lovely patio for outdoor dining with ceiling fans swirling above and an architecturally appointed water fountain. 

The brunch menu is punctuated with Tex Mex breakfast favorites. The Huevos Rancheros with
two eggs over easy layered on corn tortillas are topped with a savory Spanish tomato sauce and melted Chihuahua cheese. It’s served with refried beans, Mexican potatoes, and fresh fruit. For beef lovers there’s Steak & Eggs Ranchero, a petite fajita steak topped with ranchero sauce, fried eggs, and Cotija cheese. It’s also served with refried beans, Mexican potatoes, and fresh fruit. You may want to consider the Chilaquiles and eggs or Cheese Enchiladas with scrambled eggs and chorizo sausage. The Blood Orange French Toast is amazing and served with agave syrup, bacon, and fresh fruit. For a healthier choice go for the Avocado Toast, 9-grain toast with guacamole, pico de gallo, two eggs over easy, black refried beans, and fresh fruit. 

Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday 11 AM – 3 PM. Escalante’s has wonderful Mex inspired cocktails, beer, and tequilas for the asking.
